We debuted the Vuzix Shield™ smart glasses and the Vuzix M400-C smart glasses today for the first time. The feedback we received from tech enthusiasts, influencers, media personnel, industry partners, and all those in between has been superb.
Let’s start with the star of the show – Vuzix Shield™. The line to demo this product at CES -- live for the first time anywhere in the world -- was nonstop. Which is understandable being that this product is unlike anything else on the market. Built for enterprise and built to last. Ruggedized smart safety glasses with a contemporary design providing all day comfort for those who wear them. We illustrated various use cases for this product – from warehousing and logistics to medical practices and the feedback we received from the public was quite exciting. If you haven’t had a chance to demo this product yet while at CES, it is a MUST SEE.
We also showcased the all new Vuzix M400-C today. This product is already in the hands of one of our major partners, and with additional shipments to partners hot on its heels. This was a thrilling SECOND major product to debut at CES because we’re now able to connect Vuzix smart glasses to any USB-C device that supports DisplayPort Alternative Mode. This is a hugely important option for clients needing to use specialized portable devices coupled with the flexibility that only a smart glasses form factor delivers!
