Title: Application Engineer
Location: West Henrietta, NY
Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Provide the engineering level customer / developer support.
  • Answer device capability questions, provide assistance with platform interface and SDK / API issues, and provide design guidance to customers / developers.
  • For customers which require more than a few hours of support, and for customers who request implementation assistance, provide software engineering design services on an hourly billable basis.  
  • Provide engineering test for R&D engineering releases. The application engineer will not be directly involved in platform development, and will thus be objective in providing evaluation and test feedback.  


Experience Required

  • The candidate must have significant Android application development experience, and must be able to demonstrate understanding of the unique requirements of an Android application running on a wearable device.  

  • Google Glass development experience is particularly valuable.​

Title: Hardware Engineer
Location: West Henrietta, NY
Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Hardware development experience in wireless communications systems including WiFi, BT, GPS, WCDMA, GSM, and LTE radios.
  • Regulatory compliance experience including design and debug for FCC, CE, CCC, etc.
  • Analyze product specifications and performance requirements to determine design approach and form factor for overall product design
  • Provide Engineering support including troubleshooting to manufacturing and production groups.
  • Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
  • Digital, analog, audio/video circuit design, component selection, schematic entry, board bringup and integration, testing, and verification.


Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years of detailed experience working in a hardware design environment.
  • EDA tools for schematic and board design (Altium Designer preferred)
  • Lab debugging and measurement skills using typical lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.
  • Seeing a design through all phases from conception through production including requirements generation, schematic, layout, prototype builds, testing and commercialization.
  • High speed digital design

Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: West Henrietta, NY
Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • See design through all phases from conception through production including requirements generation, schematic, layout, prototype builds, testing and commercialization.
  • Validate system performance in order to prove the technical design through analysis, simulation, and laboratory testing.
  • Generate complete system documentation and provide input to technical proposals in order to effectively communicate the design and/or approach to internal and external customers.
  • Communicate with the customer, supplier, and internal management as the technical expert on projects in order to effectively interface with all facets of decision making personnel and customer management.
  • Provide budget, schedule, and technical compliance updates to management in order to effectively record progress of technical aspects of the program assigned.
  • Ensure successful transition of products/projects to full scale production.


Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of detailed circuit/embedded system design.
  • Proven design skills in a product development environment. Full product lifecycle experience required. Program management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in board level designs that include high density BGA and surface mount technologies including FPGAs, and microprocessors. 
  • Experience in designs using video/display driver electronics a plus.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance for FCC, CE, etc. required.
  • Knowledge of computer programming languages such as Verilog, C, and, assembly.
  • Programming for embedded 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to solve problems, multi-task and be a hands-on leader.
  • Familiarity with consumer and industrial designs, specifications and regulations.
