Vuzix VR Manager 4 supports two types of Extensions for enabling 3D video and head tracking support in games and other applications.
Vuzix Extensions, are those created by Vuzix and pre-installed, in VR Manager.

Creator Extensions are those authored by end-users like yourself using the Creator resource included with VR Manager 4. These Extensions can be edited, imported, exported and shared with others through the VR Extension Exchange.
VR Extensions enable stereoscopic 3D video and head tracking support to applications without full support for these features written into and enabled in the programs original code. Extension can be used to enable these features in most DirectX and OpenGL games developed to run on a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows operating system.
A third style of 3D video and head tracking support is available. Native support is where 3D video and Vuzix head tracking support is included directly in a program’s operating code. As these programs do not require the assistance of an Extension, they are not listed in either of the above-mentioned Extension lists.
